Installation Instructions
Follow these steps:
- Check your system.
- Download the network access client, and
- Install the client.
Another step is to Configure your wireless LAN card.
However, the order in which you to do this depends on where you are when downloading
the PANS client. You can install the PANS client onsite from the CHOICE network if
your wireless LAN card is configured correctly.
Details follow:

To use the network access software you must have:
- A Windows 2000 machine (Build 2195 or above).
- An IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN card (for example, a Aironet 4800 Series Turbo DS or a Cisco
Aironet 340 series) with the relevant device driver installed.
- Internet Explorer Version 5.0 (or later)
In addition it would help to have the following utilities:
- WinDGS from Cisco/Aironet
- WinZip from WinZip Computing Inc.
Important: While using this software you must be logged-in to
an account that has (host machine) administrative priviledges

If your system meets the step 1 requirements, go ahead and download the network access
software.
1.05 MB | Version Beta 1
If you don't have WinZip download this self extracting file.
You can either download the client to a subdirectory and then open the files via WinZip or
you can "Open the file from the current location" without saving it to disk first (see Step 3).

After WinZip is invoked double click on setup.exe. When
prompted for a serial number use 123456
Now follow the instructions below:
- Plug in your wireless LAN card.
- Go to Start, then MSR's Choice Network then click Install PANS Client.
(You will be asked multiple times to confirm your installation. Click Yes or
simply hit enter each time. This is a driver signing issue)
If your wireless LAN card is configured correctly and if you
have faithfully followed the three steps just described, you should get a welcome
message from the local CHOICE network asking you to log in.
